A new building to be used for the purpose of a museum was completed in 2014 and is located next to the church building. The building is climate controlled, has a restroom, and certain features have been incorporated for security in order to protect the historical items.
The Historic Livingston Foundation is interested in adding locality-true and period-correct items as exhibits for the museum. There are certain requirements that must be met for all items and all items are subject to approval and to common legal agreements.
The Parker-Harl Museum is currently only open by appointment so please contact the Historic Livingston Foundation (see Contact page above) if you would like to schedule a visit or if you would like to talk to the Historic Livingston Foundation regarding more information about an item that you believe should be on display as an exhibit.
